Aurora+ is more than just a regular germination device. With its cutting-edge technology and intelligent features, it's a revolution in the world of seed-based products! Get ready to experience the perfect germination environment that cocoons your seeds in evenly distributed heat and hydration, allowing them to flourish like never before.
Before using Aurora+, please check the instructions on the back of the box and refer to the cleaning information section below.
We recommend using the higher, flashing light 80-82 setting for most seeds, except for ones that prefer cooler temperatures like strawberries. To prevent heat loss, it is essential to use the stick-on feet for the bottom of your Aurora+. The unit will not feel warm to the touch unless your hands are cold, which is a benefit of the design containing the heat evenly with your seeds.
Say goodbye to inefficient, low-quality heat mats that are fragile and expensive to replace. Aurora+ is an energy-efficient, highly effective, and safe solution to start your seeds. Its die-cast, anodized aluminum compound with high thermal conductivity provides even, consistent heat, making sure your seeds get the best start possible.
And with two temperature settings to choose from, you can customize your Aurora+ experience to suit your needs. The flashing green light indicates that Aurora+ is on and warming up to the 27/28 C setting, while the solid green light indicates that it's on and warming up to the 24/25 C setting. Simply plug it in and watch as your seeds start to thrive.

To ensure that your Aurora+ is functioning properly, it's important to keep it clean. To clean the lid and germination pods, you can use a mild vinegar/distilled water solution or an isopropyl alcohol/distilled water solution (max 70% iso) with a q-tip, lint-free cloth, or soft-bristle toothbrush. If you are using hydrogen peroxide in your germination or cleaning solution, make sure you never exceed a maximum strength of 2 parts distilled water to 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide (resulting in a solution of 1% hydrogen peroxide).
It's also important to maximize thermal efficiency on any surface by using the stick-on rubberized feet that are included with your Aurora+. To use them, make sure the outside of your Aurora+ is clean and dry, then apply the feet to the bottom of the device in each of the four corners. This will help protect against heat loss on surfaces like granite, marble, glass, stainless steel, or anything else that stays cool to the touch.
When using the Expansion Pack, it is recommended that you use the lower (solid light 24/25 C) setting, along with a light to generate warmth. However, if your plants are in a cold room and under a light that doesn't warm the area much, then the warmer setting may be more suitable. It's important to note that the ideal temperature range for plants can vary depending on the specific type of plant, so it's always a good idea to research the temperature preferences of your plants and adjust the settings accordingly.
By following these cleaning and maintenance guidelines, along with using the appropriate settings for your plants, you can help ensure that your Aurora+ functions properly and your plants have the best chance of thriving.
